AV-TEST Awards 2024 for Kaspersky
Every day, cybersecurity products deliver monitoring and protection services reliably in the background, unnoticed by many end users and company employees. The renowned AV-TEST Institute has been testing and recognizing these "hidden champions" for over 20 years. This year, the institute is once again presenting its coveted AV-TEST Awards 2024. In thousands of tests, the experts examined name-brand protection products for consumer users and corporate users on Windows, Mac and Android and certified them for their strong security performance. The AV-TEST Award 2024 honors the products that have consistently stood out with top scores and achieved peak ratings in the long-term test results throughout 2024. The security vendor Kaspersky stood out in numerous tests in 2024, receiving a total of 9 awards. AV-TEST is giving Kaspersky the Windows Best Protection and Best Usability Awards in the consumer user category. Add to this the Best MacOS Security Award for Consumer Users. In the test categories for companies, Kaspersky receives the Windows Best Protection and Best Usability Awards for two products each. As an additional accolade, the vendor is presented with the Best Advanced Protection Award for Corporate Users – also for two products.

AV-TEST Award – recognition for verified IT security
Comprehensible, standards-based tests are a high priority for the experts at the AV-TEST Institute. All products evaluated in the test labs for Windows, Mac and Android always undergo a defined test structure and documentation. Only this professional approach ensures that test results are reproducible, valid and consistent at all times. Kaspersky's corporate solutions also made a strong finish in the category of Advanced Threat Protection tests (ATP). That is why the team at AV-TEST is presenting the Best Advanced Protection Award for Corporate Users to the Small Office Security and Endpoint Security solutions.
In the test area of usability, the lab experts examine the Windows products for false alarms. The security packages are required to examine a large number of popular and innocuous files and programs and to classify them as harmless. Any errors in detection could lead to business interruptions, especially for corporate users. In the tests conducted in 2024, the Kaspersky Plus product for consumer users always achieved the top scores and therefore received the Best Usability Award for Consumer Users. Kaspersky's Small Office Security and Endpoint Security products also stood out in the test area of company solutions, winning the Best Usability Award for Corporate Users in each instance.
